Report Card- 2000

So, how are we doing in April, 2000?

At a school board meeting on March 21, 2000 Assistant Superintendent Mary Anne Evangelist presented the annual school report card.

The greatest revelation and the first step towards progress on this issue was  Ms Evangelist's assertion that there would be "no excuses". That regardless of a child's socio-economic background, it is the responsibility of the district to provide that child with an education that to those of his or her peers.

We hope you'll join us in holding the present administration to that policy.

We are presently analyzing that data in conjunction with the NAACP and we will be presenting a report card on this page in the next 4- 6 weeks.

Look for it!
