Luis A. Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship Award

This $1000 scholarship is awarded in honor of one of the founding members of PIE, Luis Rodriguez. Luis was a teacher and social worker who moved to Nyack in the late 1980's.  He was an outspoken critic and inspirational leader of education reform for many years.

It is awarded to the "Outspoken Student of Color" at Nyack High School who will be matriculating into college.  

Class of 2000 Winner

Congratulations to Morgan Jimerson of the Class of 2000 at Nyack High School.  She has been awarded this year's Luis A Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000!!
