Full Day Kindergarten was passed as part of the current budget.  The question is what kind of kindergarten?

A committee of parents and teachers worked for several months on a report which it delivered to the Board on March 7, 2000. The committee recommended that the district move to a full day program for kindergarten.

This recommendation was also made by the Tulin Report on Diversity and the Task Force on Educational Equality.
